Organization settings

The Admin area is your organization’s control room: overview statistics, members and roles, invitations, an activity log, and the settings that apply to everyone.

Note

Everything on this page requires the Admin role.

The four Admin tabs#

TabWhat it does
OverviewOrganization statistics and health: member, item and dataset counts, plus your organization’s name, public domain, plan, units and locale.
MembersEverything about people: the four role cards (with the full permission matrix behind More info), the members table — search, filter by role, change roles, view profiles, remove members — and invitations, sent from the Invite Member button and tracked as rows in the same table.
ActivityA log of activity across the organization.
SettingsOrganization configuration and preferences — the settings described below.

Organization settings#

The Settings tab holds the form for organization-wide preferences. Changes apply to everyone in the organization:

  • Organization Name — shown across the portal and in the Admin sidebar.
  • Description — a short description of your organization.
  • Units — Metric or Imperial.
  • Locale — English, Swedish, German, French or Spanish.

Portal Appearance#

The Portal Appearance card restyles the portal interface itself — colors, font and corner rounding — using one of your organization’s content themes. Turn on Apply org theme to the portal and pick a theme. It applies for everyone in the organization; public pages are unaffected, and dashboards and journeys keep their own item themes. Themes are built in the Theme Builder.

Your organization’s domain#

The Overview tab shows your organization’s public domain: {your-slug}.orbgis.se. That subdomain is where published dashboards, journeys and surveys live — see Sharing & publishing. The portal you work in is always app.orbgis.se.

Tip

Roles are fixed system roles (Admin, Publisher, Editor, Viewer) and cannot be created or edited — there is nothing to configure there. Details in Roles & privileges.
